someday

someday,

i want to live

in a little

loft or apartment

with bookshelves,

artwork,

and thrifted

knick knacks.

i want to live

in a city

amongst 

thousands of people

in this little apartment

with the one

who inspires my soul.

someday,

i want to dye

my hair

purple.

And not have to worry

about it affecting 

my future employment.

someday,

i want to 

teach elementary strings,

start a program for women 

rescued from sex trafficking

where they can learn music while they heal,

open my own etsy shop,

work at  at a coffee shop,
travel,

and 

do whatever makes me happy.

someday,

i want to travel

to Australia,

Africa,

Antarctica,

Seattle,

Nepal,

LA,

Montana,

back to India,

everywhere.

someday,

all these dreams

will become reality.

but for now,

i will be

embracing

today.
because ever day
just brings us 
one step closer to
someday.
