a week in a review

 

    If you can't tell by my lack of posts, the past two weeks were very eventful around here. Last weekend was homecoming weekend, which meant a pep rally, parade, football game, two concerts, and family visiting. I was fortunate enough to be nominated onto the homecoming court at my university, so after marching with the band in the town parade, I ran back and rode  as a homecoming nominee in the parade. Then, after marching with the band in the halftime show, I ran up with the court  and  revealed a dress i had hidden under my band uniform (yes, it was a little awkward and not so graceful of a change,

but hey, every event needs a little awkward, right?). The same weekend, was our final prism concert, orchestra concert and Octubafest! During the week, there were mid terms,

playing exams, observations, wing night, and catching up with all my favorite student teachers. After all the stress and busyness of the past two weeks, I am so thankful for  fall break this weekend.
